Germany stocks higher at close of trade; DAX up 0.25% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the gained 0.25%, while the index climbed 0.47%, and the index gained 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the were Bayer AG NA (DE:), which rose 4.16% or 2.10 points to trade at 52.59 at the close. Meanwhile, Vonovia SE (DE:) added 2.31% or 1.30 points to end at 57.50 and Deutsche Wohnen AG (DE:) was up 2.25% or 0.920 points to 41.810 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delivery Hero AG (DE:), which fell 3.43% or 4.60 points to trade at 129.35 at the close. Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (DE:) declined 1.21% or 0.845 points to end at 69.085 and Daimler AG NA O.N. (DE:) was down 1.16% or 0.675 points to 57.280.
The top performers on the MDAX were Siemens Energy AG (DE:) which rose 4.08% to 33.67, Tag Immobilien AG (DE:) which was up 3.19% to settle at 25.220 and Grand City Properties SA (DE:) which gained 2.96% to close at 20.86.
The worst performers were Prosiebensat 1 Media AG (DE:) which was down 6.12% to 13.2700 in late trade, Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. (DE:) which lost 2.98% to settle at 9.223 and CTS Eventim AG (DE:) which was down 2.50% to 52.600 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology O.N. (DE:) which rose 4.46% to 189.70, Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. (DE:) which was up 2.78% to settle at 47.380 and LPKF Laser & Electronics (DE:) which gained 2.16% to close at 28.400.
The worst performers were United Internet AG NA (DE:) which was down 1.37% to 35.950 in late trade, Cancom SE O.N. (DE:) which lost 1.07% to settle at 44.300 and Software AG (DE:) which was down 1.00% to 32.680 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 353 to 323 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Siemens Energy AG (DE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.08% or 1.32 to 33.67. Shares in Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology O.N. (DE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.46% or 8.10 to 189.70.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 3.26% to 23.15.
Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.77% or 14.15 to $1858.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.21% or 0.11 to hit $53.10 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 0.57% or 0.32 to trade at $56.26 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.40% to 1.2159, while EUR/GBP fell 0.09% to 0.8922.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 90.330.
