England Euro 2020 fixtures: 2021  match dates, kick-off times and latest team news 


England have named their 26-man squad for this summer’s European Championship. They are one of the leading contenders with a strong squad assembled.

Gareth Southgate’s team will play a number of matches on home soil at Wembley, and the one-year postponement of the tournament due to Covid has given England’s young talent extra time to develop. 

Here we look ahead to what the summer has in store for England, three years after they reached a World Cup semi-final in Russia. 

What are England’s group stage fixtures?

England are in Group D alongside Croatia, Czech Republic and Scotland. 

Sunday, June 13

England vs Croatia – 2pm (Wembley)

Friday, June 18

England vs Scotland – 8pm (Wembley)

Tuesday, June 22

Czech Republic vs England – 8pm (Wembley)

When could England’s last-16 knockout match be?

If England win Group D:

Tuesday, June 29 

England vs Group F runners-up (Portugal, France, Germany, Hungary) – 5pm (Wembley)

If England finish second in Group D:

Monday, June 28 

Engalnd vs Group E runners-up (Spain, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia) – 5pm (Copenhagen)

If England finish as one of four best third-place teams:

Sunday, June 27 

England vs Group C winners (Netherlands, Ukraine, Austria, North Macedonia) – 5pm (Budapest)

If England finish second in Group D and win last-16 game:

England vs Winner Group F (Portugal, France, Germany, Hungary) or 3rd group A/B/C – 5pm (St Petersburg)

If England finish as one of four best third-place teams and win last-16 game

If England beat Group B winner in last-16:

Friday, July 2

When are the semi-final and final? 

The semi-finals and final are at Wembley. The semis will be on July 6 and 7 while the final will be on Sunday July 11.
